New Church Building Construction
3/19/17 - Bobby, the one who did the site work on the property was here today to load up some of his equipment to take it back home to North Carolina since his work is now done.

3/19/17 - The church's new podium, some assembly required. Pastor Ben is planning to put it together another day.
3/19/17 - It is early in the evening, Bobby is still here since this morning, it looks like he has been doing various things with his equipment.
3/20/17 - The sanctuary again. Now that the church is complete not much is going on from day to day. A professional cleaning crew will be here tomorrow to clean the building, there is still a lot of dust and powder on everything from the painting and Sheetrock sanding.
3/21/17 - I see that Pastor Ben put the podium together earlier today. The cleaning crew is here as well, they are working on the kitchen and fellowship hall area.

3/22/17 - A shot of the kitchen. It's hard to tell from the photo but everything is much cleaner since the cleaning crew finished yesterday. Dust was all over everything, even inside the drawers.

3/22/17 - The entryway at the front doors. The painters had gotten some paint spray on the tiles, the cleaning crew even got the paint off of the tiles.
3/24/17 - The heating guys were back today to make some adjustments to our system so that the heating and cooling are equalized between the hallway/foyer and the fellowship hall. They will be back next week to finish.

3/27/17 - A table and chairs is now in the fellowship hall, some church members had Bible study here. The old green chair we have had for a long time was recovered with a brighter green vinyl that won't stain as easily as the darker green cloth fabric that was there before.
3/27/17 - Some of the ladies were here on Sunday they brought kitchen items from storage and put them in our new cabinets. We are finally moving in.

3/28/17 - The heating guys were back again today, they were working on installing a small heat pump for our storage room, despite the insulation it does get hot up there. Unfortunately the unit that goes in the room was damaged somewhere between the factory and our church and had to be sent back to be replaced.
3/28/17 - The outside part was not damaged like the inside part of the unit.
3/29/17 - Notice anything missing? Our contractor, Larry, was here yesterday to take his trailer home, he left this morning.

About Aiken Seventh-day Adventist Church
The Aiken Seventh-day Adventist church was founded in the 1950s by a handful of believers who began meeting together in each other’s houses. Over the last 60+ years our membership has grown and worship facilities have been enlarged. Construction of our new church building is complete. We have started holding services at our new building since April 1st 2017!
