New Church Building Construction
2/6/17 - Bob has been working to install the handrails for the stairways, this is a wide shot of the platform before he installed the handrails.

2/7/17 - Bobby and his guys have spread the gravel from the other day to level out the difference between the concrete and the rest of the parking area in the drive through.

2/7/17 - Robert spent several hours making a sturdy shelf above the door in the utility closet. Its made from three layers of plywood and finished with a nice wood veneer.

2/8/17 - The finished frame waiting on the desktop. Bob has to laminate a veneer to the front of the frame to make it look nice before the top is put in place.
2/9/17 - The painters are back. Bob and Robert have finished the trim work and the painters have come back to paint the last of the trim.

2/9/17 - This section of the wall was covered by a lot of doors. The trim was added and the painters have sprayed on the primer.
2/9/17 - Bob finished the A/V desk. His work is done and he has gone back home to North Carolina. He did an excellent job and went above and beyond what was needed, namely the extra detail work he did on the baptistry. Thank you very much Bob!!!
2/9/17 - Bob laminated the face of the plywood stack he used as the front piece under the desktop so it matches the the actual desktop.
2/9/17 - The painters used the upstairs room as a paint booth to paint the primer on a group of doors.
2/9/17 - The painters are cleaning up the sanctuary floor getting ready to paint the rest of the doors with primer.

About Aiken Seventh-day Adventist Church
The Aiken Seventh-day Adventist church was founded in the 1950s by a handful of believers who began meeting together in each other’s houses. Over the last 60+ years our membership has grown and worship facilities have been enlarged. Construction of our new church building is complete. We have started holding services at our new building since April 1st 2017!
